MidNite Solar Clipper MNCLIP1.5KDCX.X

The MidNite Clipper is designed to control Wind or Hydro turbines and work with the Classic Series Charge Controllers to charge your battery. The Clipper communicates with the Classic Charge Controller to slow the Wind or Hydro turbine when the batteries are full, and also contains a standalone self-powered adjustable max VOC limiting circuit.

This DC Clipper is designed to work with DC turbines and was designed for up to 1.5 kw maximum turbines. The 1500 watt DC Clipper comes standard with 2.4 ohms of resistance. We can order a custom build of other resistance values upon request and have designed an easy to change resistor insert for the Clipper allowing changes in the field.

The 1,500 watt DC Clipper comes in several different resistance values. The standard values available are 0.7 (3 resistors 2 ohms each in parallel) and 2.4 ohms per phase (3 resistors 0.8 ohms in series).
