MC3 Safety Clamshell
MC3 Locking Clamshell provides protection from the elements and accidental disconnection of MC3 connectors, and provides full 2008 NEC 690.33(C) compliance for your installation. Many electrical inspectors these days require module connectors that require a tool to take apart. The MC4 (plastic) connectors accomplish this but the MC3 (rubber) connectors require our MC3 Safety Clamshell.
