Lifeline GPL-L16 2Volt Deep Cycle Battery 1200Amp-Hours (20 hour rate), 2Volts. A great high performance, Mil-Spec, sealed battery, produced in the United States. We especially like it because it is probably the most appropriate battery for the most renewable energy solar applications. It is easy to configure in just about anything you need. Small systems, medium size systems, large systems. The only limitation is the voltage you choose for your battery bank. 1200AH at 12Volt would be a modestly sized houseboat or a pretty large sailboat. If you are using it in a 24Volt situation it would be appropriate for a medium sized house. In 48Volt it is quite a large house.
Due to the Lifeline Battery's quality construction, it has an industry leading 2% per month self discharge rate at 77°F (25°C), compared to 10%+ for conventional batteries. Coast Guard approved, DOT Haz Mat Exempt, and longer lifespans than conventional batteries.
