The Schneider Electric XW-MPPT60-150 Solar Charge Controller masters maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to deliver more available power from a PV(solar module/photovoltaic) array to a battery bank. Two or three-stage battery charging processes can be utilized with manual equalization which maximizes system performance and extends battery life. This solar charge controller has configurable auxiliary power output which increases system flexibility. Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) to provide automatically temperature-compensated battery charging included. It features two-line, 16-character liquid crystal display (LCD) and configuration panel for system monitoring in stand-alone applications. These units communicate with other SCHbus/XANbus-enabled devices.
The Schneider XW-MPPT60-150 Solar charge controller can handle, and charge appropriately, a wide variety of battery voltages including; 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 36Vdc, 48Vdc, & even 60Vdc. As long as you can achieve at least the minimum PV (Solar) Input voltage for the battery bank that you are trying to charge, this unit can step down up to 140 Vdc <= 150 Vdc, to the appropriate battery charging parameters your system needs. The XW-MPPT60-150 has a vented enclosure for maximum heat dissipation. Made of a durable sheet metal chassis, the device mounts on the wall vertical. For cable entry the charge controller has both 7/8" and 1" knock-outs.
