Trojan 48 Volt Single-Point Watering Kit for L16 6 Volt Batteries

Good maintenance along with periodic watering are the two most important factors in maximizing the performance and life of Trojan deep-cycle, flooded batteries. Most battery maintenance routines can be a time-consuming, messy job. With this Single-Point Watering Kit, precise battery watering is incredibly easy, saving you valuable time. We tell our customers that if it’s easy you will do it if it’s hard, you’ll put it off.

This Single-Point Watering Kit is designed to work with your L16 6volt Trojan flooded deep-cycle batteries, thus taking the guess work out of properly watering your batteries. The flexible tubing allows the watering system to work with various configurations.

This Trojan Single-Point Watering Kit is for 48V strings of 6 volt batteries. All the kits are designed for single string installations with either the Trojan Premium or Signature Line of flooded batteries. For systems with multiple strings in parallel, just order multiple kits for your required system voltage.

NOTICE: These  Single-Point Watering Kits are compatible with all Trojan Industrial, Premium, and Signature Line flooded batteries except models 24TMX, 27TMX, 27TMH and 30XHS. They are NOT compatible with the Trojan Plus Series line of batteries, as the filler caps are different.

Maintaining the proper electrolyte level will extend the performance and life of your Trojan flooded batteries. However, determining the correct level can sometimes be a challenge. The Single-Point Watering Kits include automatic shut-off valves, interconnected with tubing, that replace the existing vent caps. A quick coupling allows the system to be easily connected to a distilled water supply. Once the watering system is installed, water flows into each battery cell until it reaches the correct level. A flow indicator built into the water supply tells the operator when filling has been completed. The entire filling process usually takes just 3 to 5 minutes.
